Heirloom Quality Christmas Ornaments or the Most Beautiful Ornaments of 2010

Updated on December 11, 2010

One of my favorite things about Christmas is decorating our Christmas tree and I always kick off the Christmas season by buying a new ornament for our tannenbaum. I am not much for your everyday ornaments that you can find in the grocery store. My favorites are heirloom quality and I treat them as such. They are absolute treasures that I plan on someday giving to my son so that when he’s a grown up his family can enjoy them as much as ours has.

While looking for new embellishments for our tree I came across these ornaments which I consider the best of the best for 2010. All of these come beautifully packaged making them easy to put away for next year (should you decide to keep them for yourself) and easy to give as presents. O Joy to the World!

Christmas Ornaments

Hand Made

Aren't these handmade ornaments from the Czech Republic gorgeous. They're bright, beautiful and somehow bubbly - they just put you in a good mood.

Naughty & Nice

I absolutely LOVE these naughty and nice ornaments by Jonathan Adler - they are tres, tres tongue in cheek. They come beautifully packaged so they would also make a wonderful hostess gift (or any other kind for that matter). They're perfect for displaying the two sides of your personality... in fact I could think of a few other uses for these as well.

Another beautiful ornament by Jonathan Adler (can you tell he's my fave?)

This simplicity ornament also by Jonathan Adler is so sweet I just can't stand it.  Its sort of retro and glam at the same time.

The gorgeous ornament is from Wedgewood. I think it could also make a great table decoration at a wedding for how about a baby shower?
