Hello all and thanks for visiting my pages.  I'm an American (originally from Chicago) who's lived in Europe for the past 18 years - the first 3 I was footloose and fancy free as I moved around to different places.

I originally went to London to study acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art then moved to Paris, Rome and even Monte Carlo.  I now live in Munich when I've been happily married to a German man for the past 15 years.  We have a (gorgeous) son and and equally beautiful jack russel terrier.

I've been lucky enough to develop of niche for myself here in Munich using my skill as an actress.  I mostly do voice over and hosting.  I'd would have loved to have more meaty roles but hey - they pay the bills so I really can't complain. Though I did feel that creativity was missing (voice overs and industrials pay well but they aren't very challanging) so since moving here I've been able to explore some of my other interests which include painting, mosaic design, jewelry making, collage, writing...

I've also always been interested in interior design and a couple of years ago decided to take the plunge and get my degree.  I'm loving my courses and am looking forward to the day when I can open my own practice.

My interests are pretty varied and that probably shows in my writing as well.  Subjects I like to cover include, interior design, expat lifestyles, art, motherhood, relationships, financial freedom, and basically whatever else that strikes my fancy.  I consider myself an expert on the above subjects (knowing just enough to know there's more to learn).

We also just bought a new house which we will be renovating from top to bottom and I've started a blog called Pretty Haus to commemorate our journey, talk about my experiences as a student of an online interior design school and post my inspirations, ideas and thoughts.

Drop me a line - I'd love to hear from you - And if you're interested in becoming a Hubber yourself then here you go!
